According to the Ministry of Health, a total of 108,216 Israelis changed Kupat Cholim (HMO) in 2012, with 28,469 doing so via the internet. Since 2011 one may change one’s Kupat Cholim via the Bituach Leumi website and one does not have to do so in person.

79,474 residents changed their HMO plan in a post office branch.
