A woman riding a bicycle was killed in a motor vehicle accident on Freud Street in Haifa on Wednesday evening.
United Hatzalah volunteer EMT Eli Geudge relayed from the scene of the incident: “This was a very serious accident and a difficult scene to witness. The accident involved a private car and a bicycle. The young woman riding the bicycle suffered serious injuries and was in traumatic arrest when I arrived. Following a lengthy resuscitation process, paramedics at the scene were forced to pronounce her death.”
Earlier in the evening volunteer EMTs and paramedics from United Hatzalah and Magen David Adom teated a 40-year-old man who was involved in a motor vehicle accident in Ramat Gan while he was riding an electric bicycle. The accident occurred on Oded Street. The man was taken to Sheba Hospital in Tel Hashomer in serious condition after he suffered a major head injury.
