A Jewish woman was detained and expelled from Har Habayis on Wednesday morning, 27 Menachem Av, as she violated regulations for non-Muslim visitors by davening on the holy site.
Due to ongoing activities by Har Habayis organizations and elected officials, there continues to be an increasing number of Jewish visitors to the site, with a new record set for Jews visiting this past Tisha B’Av, when some 1,400 visited the site.
It should be noted that Gedolei Yisrael throughout the generations along with the Chief Rabbinate of Israel, have prohibited visiting Har Habayis as there is an Issur Kares.
