MK Saida Gets a Firsthand Look at Balloon Incendiary Device

MK (Shas) Danny Saida on Tuesday got a firsthand look at one of the incendiary balloon bombs launched from Gaza into southern Israel as he visited the southern community of Moshav Shokeda. He saw a fire that broke out as a result of one of the balloons landing in a field.

Saida praised the security officials who operate around-the-clock to combat the incessant terror and called on the decision makers to get a close look at the damage and what the residents of the area are going through and to understand the magnitude of the damage that has resulted from the fires.

“I have no doubt that with the help of G-d and with the cooperation of the political echelon, a long-term solution will be achieved and the quiet will return to the ranks of border area communities”, he told the media.

Moshav Shokeda is a religious moshav in southern Israel. It is located approximately six kilometers west of Netivot and covering 6,000 dunams (1,500 acres), it falls under the jurisdiction of S’dot Negev Regional Council.
