Jerusalem mayoral candidate Moshe Leon, who has been under investigation for alleged corruption and tax offenses can breathe a sigh of relief as police on Monday, 25 Menachem Av, announced they are closing the case against him.

The police spokesman unit message released on Monday read: Israel Police has completed an investigation into Moshe Leon following allegations of public corruption as well as tax-related offenses pertaining to the operations of the DRAR and Green Ocean Ltd companies.

After the investigation, the investigating units believe that no infrastructure has been found to prove any criminal offenses have been committed.

The case will be transferred to the State Prosecutor’s Office.
