Arab youths from Jerusalem’s Wadi Joz area have stepped up attacks against Jews visiting Kever Shimon HaTzaddik, located on the predominately Arab side of Route 1 in Jerusalem in the area known as Shimon HaTzaddik, referred to by the government as Wadi Joz.

In at least one recent case, a person sustained light injuries after being struck with a rock and was treated on the scene by a Hatzolah volunteer.

The increase in violence coincides with stepped up rock-throwing and firebomb attacks against Jews traveling throughout Yehuda and Shomron.
