Border police manning the Hizme Checkpoint, a crossing point from Shomron to northern Jerusalem, stopped a vehicle which they suspected as being stolen. It turns out the driver, a PA (Palestinian Authority) resident, was entering Israel without a permit to cross the Green Line. In addition, when they conducted an inspection of the vehicle, they found another PA resident hidden in the trunk.

A check revealed the car was stolen about a month and a half ago from Ramle.

Two PA residents, one in his 50s and the second in his 30s, were taken into custody.
