Four IDF officers competing an official course in the south arrived at a restaurant in the Beresheet Hotel in Mitzpei Ramon. They were not permitted to enter however because they were armed.
One of the fathers spoke with Arutz-7’s afternoon news program, explaining his son is a company commander and was completing a command course, arriving at the restaurant with colleagues, all commanders like him, simply wishing to eat lunch. However, the security guard of the restaurant would not permit them to enter. It is pointed out they were not in uniform.
They asked to speak with the hotel’s security officer, which they did, and he too insisted they could not enter with their weapons, compelling them to leave, with a very bad feeling.
The father did point out that by and large, the soldiers and officers receive widespread support, and at times, after eating, they are even told the meal was paid for by someone else. However, the feeling they received in this case was not a good one as they had to leave and find another place to eat lunch.

This is NOT crazy Who needs them? let them stay home.
There are many IDF personnel that carry their weapons, even though they are not in uniform. This should not have made a difference.
Chesed sad to say you need a lot of your name.
