Police Raid Meah Shearim Homes Looking For Additional Suspects For Tearing Down Ads On Egged Buses

The police continue their struggle against persons suspected of tearing down election ads for Jerusalem mayoral candidate MK Rachel Azaria from Egged buses in the city. A number of persons have already been arrested in the case and they are going to face criminal prosecution for their alleged actions. It appears they are not against Azariya, but disapprove of posters showing a woman.

Police during the night of 19 Menachem Av (Monday to Tuesday), raided two homes in the Geula and Meah Shearim communities during the night in the hope of apprehending two additional suspects. One of the suspects is considered a “leader” among the extremists and the other suspect is a young man who also belongs to the extremists in the neighborhood.

However, this time around, police left empty-handed as the suspects they were after were not at home.

  3. with all due respects, I think there are more serious crimes to go after than arresting several idiots who tear down a picture of an ugly woman that should never have been put up in a place where it offends every one!

Only because she has some political clout did the police make the raid. Investigate this lady and you will see she hates religious.
