United States Ambassador to Israel, David Friedman, on Monday, 18 Menachem Av, was menachem aveil the family of the Yishuv Adam resident murdered by an Arab terrorist on Thursday, 31-year-old Yotam Ovadia HY”D.

The Ambassador arrived together with Yesha Council Chairman Chananel Dorani, as well as the council’s head of the Foreign Desk, Oded Ravivi and Director of the Binyamin Regional Council, Maoz Begun.

This is the first time that the US ambassador has paid an official visit in Yehuda and Shomron, visiting families of terror victims like anywhere else in the country, and seems to be changing the American administration’s policy regarding the Israeli communities located in Yehuda and Shomron.

As he left the house of mourning, Ambassador Friedman stated: “I felt heartbroken when I saw the tragic impact of the murder of Yotam Ovadia – a young mother left alone to look after her two small children, parents who are mourning the murder of their only son.

“There are no words that can describe the evil and barbarity of this act of terrorism. ”
