In the latest IDF counter-terrorism operation in areas of Yehuda and Shomron, on Sunday night the eve of 18 Menachem Av, security forces made 20 arrests; PA (Palestine Authority) residents suspected of taking part in acts of terror and/or participating in violent confrontations with security forces.

IDF soldiers took part in operations along with border police and agents of the Shin Bet, with the latter usually providing the intelligence information regarding the whereabouts of the wanted suspects.

Part of the operations took place in the Efraim Brigade district, where a Hamas terrorist was arrested in Kalkilye, wanted for months for advancing planned terror attacks.

Arrests were also made including Hamas terrorists affiliated with Hebron University, another hotbed of indoctrination for Islamic terrorists as are Birzeit University in the Ramallah district and other universities located in the confines of the PA.

B’chasdei Hashem, there were no reported injuries among any of the security forces involved in the operations.
