Rishon Letzion Rav Yitzchak Yosef, paid condolences to the family of IDF soldier Aviv Levi HY”D who was killed by a Palestinian sniper at the Gaza border last Friday.

“You have an extraordinary privilege to have sacrificed a sacrifice to God. Aviv HY”D had the extraordinary honor to have a family like you, who do everything to raise his soul in prayer and good deeds, and by doing so you continue the path of your son who sacrificed himself for the people of Israel,” said Rav Yosef.
