The word “drowned” is Baruch HaShem not applicable here. Please correct.
Perhaps she was initially declared “drowned” but B’H, the first responders were able to resuscitate her.
In any event, she should have a refuah shelamah.
totally separately, what is a “Tzimmer” swimming pool.?
Drowned means died due to water inhalation. Hymie, it drives me crazy too. Someone who drowned is dead, so it is a near-drowning. Refuah Shleima to the child.
Gadol, presumably it is a pool located at the site of a Tzimmer – an Israeli rental vacation home.
it seems that in Israel the term drowned refers to whether the person died or not, because it is commonly used in these situations.
According to the Red Cross, the term “drown” can be used regardless of whether or not the victim survived.
