EMS Volunteer Returns Home To Find He Was Robbed


An EMS volunteer from Bnei Brak responded to the home of a woman who did not feel well. The team treated the woman, who was transported to a local hospital. When the responder returned home on Shabbos, he realized he had been robbed and thousands of shekels worth of belongings were gone.

Police were summoned on motzei Shabbos and following the filing of a report, investigators and a forensic team arrived at the scene and collected evidence and findings sent for examination. In addition, actions were carried out that led to the identification of the identity of the suspect.

The suspect, a 31-year-old resident of Bnei Brak, turned out to be a volunteer in one of the rescue organizations.

The suspect was arraigned, and his remand was extended by the Tel Aviv Magistrate Court until this coming Friday, 1 Menachem Av.

  1. For your information – according to other news sources in Hebrew, this article is incorrect. The version in hebrew says that the patient was a child that went with parents on Shabbos with EMS to the hospital, and after the EMS care giver took them to the hospital, he went back to the apartment and robbed it. Please be accurate with your articles.
