Ruthie Margalit, a chareidi woman from Bnei Brak, educated in Beis Yaakov, is the founder of Membit and is now paving the way for chareidi women to enter high-tech. She is a graduate of Kamatech.
She explains the parent company, which was founded 12 years ago, employs “140 hardcore chareidi women”, women with large families who generally require more flexibility regarding hours, but have a phenomenal work ethic and remain highly motivated.
Her actions are breaking down misconceptions regarding chareidi women, explaining in a first meeting with someone she is perceived one way but after five minutes, there is a new reality and they get down to business.
