Former Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon, who is trying to reenter the political arena, told Walla News on Thursday morning, 22 Tammuz, that fields in Gaza should be set ablaze in response to the fire kites sent over the border fence from Gaza into southern Israel. Ya’alon added that to date, the kites have caused hundreds of fires and enormous damage to agriculture in the area.
Regarding Israel’s threats against Hamas, Ya’alon said that “these are empty threats, and that ultimatums, which are only talk, damage deterrence, and we do not have to wait three months to try to change the equation.”
Regarding the solution in Gaza, Ya’alon said: “It is impossible to reach any military solution in with a ‘Zabang’ and then be finished … The policy should be one that the Palestinians understand that they have their own autonomy. We maneuver so that they will not reach a crisis. The responsibility is Hamas’ and not ours. There is no blockade. There is a security closure [on Gaza] that must be maintained. Hamas proves what we are supposed to understand. It is not interested in the 1967 borders, but Tel Aviv, Ashkelon, and the right of return. We have to explain this to the world,” said Ya’alon.

Yaalon makes a point. We are allowing these animals to be aggressors while we spend money, time, and risk lives to defend against them. We should be doing something to make them busy defending themselves. If we send fires to their fields, they will need to protect themselves, use their resources to extinguish their own fires, and will be diverted away from us. These savages do not understand diplomacy or negotiation. They have never understood anything but brute force. Israel should be pushing the border outwards, shrinking the land they occupy, and completely cut off electricity, money, and aid. The world screams anyway.
This Ya’alon character is a real michutzav hypocrite. The disgraced “former” DM had his chances thousands of times when he was in power and they were at war in Gaza, and he chose to do NOTHING!!! HE was all talk no action! “Empty threats” “ultimatums”, are you kidding me? That’s ALL this bum did! Boogie was the toughest talking guy out there. Does he really think the average Israeli is that stupid?
