In an interview with Wolf Blitzer, Yesh Atid leader Yair Lapid explains the problem with peace efforts with the PA (Palestine Authority) is that the PA has rejected any and all offers made since 2000, including the generous offers to achieve peace made by former Prime Minister, Ehud Barak.
Lapid explains he still believes a two-state solution is doable but will never support any deal that calls for the division of Jerusalem.
Lapid also states that after the US moved its embassy to Jerusalem and canceled the Iranian deal, it will be difficult for Israel to say no to any peace deal put forward by the Trump administration. Lapid also feels there is a good chance of early elections in Israel.
