The new law abolishing the restrictions that choked the cellular telephone market has resulted in quite a new reality in Israel today. 1.4 million cell phone users opted to take advantage of the new reality, and they moved to a new provider.

According to the Communications Ministry data, 490,000 subscribers changed providers in the fourth quarter of 2012 alone.
