Protestors on Tuesday night gathered outside the Jerusalem home of Shas party chairman, Minister Aryeh Deri, accusing him of selling out bnei Torah for his cooperation with coalition officials in the formation of a new draft law.

Protesters have recently also protested outside the Bnei Brak Home of Degel Hatorah chairman, MK Moshe Gafne, accusing him of selling out as well. They also recently attacked Gafne as well as Degel MK Uri Maklev.

The protestors outside Deri’s home decried his willingness to cooperate with the new draft law, which they label “physical and spiritual shmad”.

The event passed without incident.
