HaGaon HaRav Moshe Eliezer Shteigal (שטיגל) ZT”L, 86, was niftar on Monday morning, 12 Tammuz, in Mayanei HaYeshua Hospital in Tel Aviv. Rav Shteigal was admitted to the hospital a few days earlier for pneumonia, and his condition continued to deteriorate. He was counted among the elders of Kollel Breslov.

The rav was born to Rav Matisyahu Ze’ev Chaim Shteigal ZT”L, the founder of Yeshivas Beis Yosef. The rav was a rosh yeshiva for many years in Kaliv in Rishon L’Tzion, as well as Yeshivos Belze, Knesset Yechezkel and Knesset Shalom.

The levaya began at 12:30P from Kollel Breslov on Alshich Street in Bnei Brak to the Ponevezh Cemetery for kvura. Shiva is in the niftar’s home at 10 Ramban Street in Bnei Brak.
