Israel Police on Har Habayis on Monday, 12 Tammuz, detained a secular couple getting married in Shoresh Monday evening along with a third person. They were detained for a brief period of time.
Person who were part of their group explain a policewoman followed them while photographing them and at some point, stopped the male without cause, searched him, and found nothing. They removed the couple from Har Habayis nonetheless, with eyewitnesses insisting they did nothing wrong. The third person detained and removed from the site was a student affiliated with Students for Har Habayis.
It should be noted that Gedolei Yisrael throughout the generations along with the Chief Rabbinate of Israel, have prohibited visiting Har Habayis as there is an Issur Kares.

I think it is important to note that there are other Gedolei Yisrael throughout the generations who support going to the Har Habayis.
Stating otherwise is misleading as their are thousands of people who do go with the psak of their rabbanim
THERE IS NO ISSUR KARES FOR VISITING THE HAR HABAYIS – ONLY THE AZORA
“other rabbonim” no kidding
That’s laughable
“thousands of people go with psak”
loosely tranlated as thousands of irreligious people go without the barest precautions where they step and/or without tevila from their tumas ziva or nida
