Police report that traffic enforcement throughout Yehuda and Shomron this week resulted in issuing 832 summonses. Police state this includes summonses for offenses that lead to increased accidents and/or pose a danger to others on the road as well as pedestrians.
As a result, 19 licenses were suspended, 16 vehicles were taken off the road due to serious safety deficiencies, and 68 summonses were issued for persons using a cellular phone without a hands-free device.
