Security forces on Sunday moved in and carried out the execution of the eviction of residents from Tapuach West. Authorities report there were eleven structures on what they refer to as an outpost. The High Court of Justice gave the order to remove the homes from the neighborhood of Yishuv Tapuach in Shomron.
Families report police moved from house to house and arrested youths without any visible justification. This includes youths found inside and outside of homes. Buses were on hand to remove those arrested.
A police spokesman reports that there are eleven homes and five families as some of the buildings are used for agriculture and industry. Two building were moved to state land but remain under threat of demolition.
Residents express outrage regarding the behavior of police. They add the area was declared a “closed military zone” and persons outside were prohibited from entering.
A police spokesman adds troops encountered violent youths upon their arrival. At least 11 policemen were injured, and 6 persons arrested.

If these settlers set up homes in areas that they had no reshus to be in, then by all means prosecute them.
If settlers have no derech eretz or respect for the laws of the land they deserve punishment.
BUT….. if they were following the law then the government should intervene on their behalf and they should be duly compensated for their losses.
According to some of the residents, eggs and bleach were hurled at the policemen. Sounds like quite a ruckus. Reporting as much detail as possible is important when we are condemning violent demonstrations.
The baloniest of the baloney in this baloney sandwich pretending to be news is the statement that the police had no cause to arrest youths in the area. There was, according to the YWN article, a court order requiring all persons to leave the settlement. That’s all the reason the police need to make arrests. When Hashem returns us to Shomron and the rest of Eretz Yisrael, He/She will make it clear that we should stay there. In the meantime, we must obey the civil authorities of the State of Israel.
