A Palestinian witness says an Israeli drone struck a tent used to prepare kites and balloons rigged with incendiary devices for launch into the Jewish state.
Mohammed al-Tayya says the airstrike came after protesters launched several such balloons at Israel Friday, the Eid al-Fitr holiday that comes at the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
Israel’s military said an aircraft had fired warning shots at Palestinians preparing balloon bombs, and at a nearby vehicle. It said it views the devices with “great severity” and will act against them.
Earlier, bomb disposal units detonated an explosive device attached to a balloon fired from Gaza that floated on to a highway. Spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said it was spotted by civilians.
Israel has been battling large fires caused by kites and balloons rigged with incendiary devices or burning rags, launched by Palestinians in Gaza that have destroyed forests, burned crops and killed wildlife.
Gaza protest organizers said they planned to launch large numbers of kites and balloons with incendiary materials throughout the day at Israel.

I truly believe that Eretz Yisreal is for Israel ONLY !! PM Sharon erroneously believed that by ceding land to
Arabs, i.e. Gaza, that peace would come to Israel—-well Mr. Sharon passed away and there is no peace only rioting, kite bombs, suicde terrorists, armed rockets from Gaza into Askelon and Sderot and other Israel towns.
True peace will come to Israel when all Jews RETURN to Eretz Israel— then and only then will peace come to the sacred land. A minister of the current Israeli government recent lamented assimilation is a very real danger to Jews.
He cited that American Jews are too much enamored with America—with accompanying assimilation, violation of the T_rah, Shabbos, etc. I could not agree more with the minister. I would remind Jews in the diaspora that it was not so long ago that a similar situation arose in a very, very well “educated” Germany–from 1920 to Jan 29 ’33–and look what happen–b’vah’chah’shah go to Eretz Yisreal ASAP—a window of opportunity exists do not let it pass !!!
In Germany, the window closed unexpectedly and no country took in the persecuted Jews—Learn from history B’Vah’Khah’Shah !!!!

What would the rest of the world say when gaza starts burning from their own fire??? Still Israelis to blame??? No government is clean, but Israel will never get a fair crack of the whip.
