US Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen M. Nielsen on Thursday, 2 Rosh Chodesh Tammuz, visited the Kosel.
The Secretary was very impressed and wrote in the visitors’ book of the Kosel: “May God bless all of us, that may we always remember Your name, that we will always act with love and with your guidance … Thank you for everything you gave your children …”
The minister was received by the Rabbi of the Kosel Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, who noted the Jewish people’s appreciation of friendship with the United States.
Today, I was honored and humbled to visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Western Wall, two of the holiest sites in all of the world. An unbelievably moving experience for both me and my team. pic.twitter.com/F3ptipUhtJ
