The Shin Bet on Tuesday announced that after the initial probe into the stabbing of a female in an Afula café on Monday, the attack has been determined to have been an act of terrorism. The victim was stabbed in her upper torso.
An 18-year-female was seriously injured in the attack as she sat in a café. A suspect was arrested shortly following the attack. The suspect is Nur Sinau from Jenin, a PA (Palestine Authority) resident. He was arraigned in the Nazareth Magistrate’s Court and ordered held until June 18th when another hearing will take place.
The update on the victim’s condition from HaEmek Hospital in Afula stated she was in very serious/stable condition. Hospital officials on Tuesday report she remains in serious condition.
