A 36-year-old woman was found murdered in an apartment on Aryeh Levin Street in Kiryat Shmuel. United Hatzalah volunteers and Magen David Adom staff treated the woman for stabs wounds to her upper body before transporting her to the hospital in critical condition. She was pronounced dead at Rambam Medical Center in Haifa. Police have detained her life-partner, a 44-year-old man who is suspected of carrying out the murder.

A neighbor who knows the couple said that over the past few years there have been some serious fights between the two, and that a few times the woman’s partner was arrested. “Police took him a few times, after a month or two, he returned. Police confirmed that the couple had been having fights and that they were separated. They also confirmed that the woman filed formal complaints against the man, and that the situation was being looked into currently.
