Friday, a terrorist cell drove to the Israeli community of Migdal Oz, south of Bethlehem, and hurled explosives and a Molotov cocktail over the gate of the community. Neither injuries nor damage was caused.
Forces from the Kfir Brigade’s Shimshon Battalion identified the terrorist cell and fired at them. The forces continued searching the area, located the car used by the terror cell and arrested two members of the cell who were hiding in a nearby building. A third member of the cell was later arrested southwest of Bethlehem. The three operatives received medical treatment for their injuries and later were transferred to security forces for questioning. The Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories announced that an additional terrorist operative received medical treatment from the Red Crescent.
This morning, two Israeli civilians were injured lightly in a car accident caused by rocks hurled at their vehicle, north of Chevron. An IDF soldier was also lightly injured from rocks hurled at his vehicle south of Ramallah. The civilians and the soldier were evacuated to a hospital to receive medical treatment.
