A Jerusalem police district spokesman on Wednesday afternoon 22 Sivan reported the arrest of a “chareidi extremist” who allegedly attacked a passer-by during the heat of a protest.
Police explain the incident occurred on May 6, 2018, during a protest at Kikar Shabbos in Jerusalem, during which buses and vehicular traffic were blocked and garbage dumpsters burned.
According to police, a person tried to clear a garbage can from blocking the street, and the suspect attacked him to prevent him from doing so. The suspect, in his 20s, also spat at the man he allegedly attacked.
The victim filed a police complaint, leading to the arrest. The suspect was arraigned on Wednesday.

I find it difficult how the frummist people are sometimes the worst. You would think that with all that exterior religious wear, the feeling of Torah and G-d would penetrate into the person.
But no, it seems that it just looks frum, but rotten inside…..
Sorry but the word you used “sikrikin” means something different
see gemura gitin 56:
לא היה
סיקרייקון בהרוגי מלחמה בהרוגי ביהודה
and see rashi
סיקרייקון עובד כוכבים רוצח שנותן לו ישראל קרקע בפדיון נפשו ואומר לו שא קרקע זו ואל תמיתני
It isn’t a matter of frumkeit. People with mental health problems who are religious frequently use religious issues as a way of acting out their problems. The guy isn’t super-religious – just sick and unhappy and using religion as an excuse to strike out.
I don’t see anyone who used that word in either the article or the comments, but the meaning of words changes over time.
