Dozens of prominent dati leumi community rabbonim have signed a letter calling on both Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked to halt the trial of the Duma arson defendants.

The rabbonim on Tuesday, 22 Sivan, called upon the senior ministers to personally intervene, explaining the defendants were tortured into making their confessions, and as such, the trial should be halted and an independent state inquiry into the questioning and interrogation of the youths by the Shin Bet must be formed.
