Ichud Hatzalah responded to a call in Elad for a 3-month-old girl found in cardiac arrest in a carriage, apparently the result of choking on a plastic bag. She was transported while CPR was in progress.

22:30 Sunday Night:

15 PA (Palestinian Authority) policemen and 3 Arabs were injured in a confrontation near Ramallah. Police used live ammunition against the protestors, wounding the three.

Prof. Yosef Kaplan of the Hebrew University History Dept, faculty has been awarded the Israel Prize in Jewish History.

Based on previous Election days and a forecast for clear skies, business owners expect an average increase of 114.5% in earnings on Election Day.

A school guard is listed in moderate condition and another employee in light condition after they were stabbed at a school on Tabor St. in Upper Nazareth. Police are trying to determine if the stabbing was a terror attack.

PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) told the Lebanese media that Israel has agreed to permit 150,000 Palestinian refugees in Syria to move to PA (Palestinian Authority) autonomous areas.

IDF S. District Commander Major-General Tal Russo has announced his retirement after being passed over for Deputy IDF Chief of Staff. Major-General Sami Turgeman will replace Russo.
