Gaza Border Incident Leads to IDF Gunfire


Dozens of Arabs gathered along the northern Gaza border in the Beit Lahiya area. They were in an area that is forbidden to congregate due to the proximity to the border. They were seen attempting to damage the border in that area. Warning shots were fired. One person was hit in the leg and transported to a local hospital in moderate condition.

Elsewhere, IDF officials’ report 30 or more Arabs rioted near Kever Rochel involving hurling explosive devices and rocks at soldiers. According to PA (Palestinian Authority) sources, soldier shot and seriously wounded one of the rioters.
