Israel Electric Company (IEC) CEO Major-General (retired) Yiftach Ron-Tal on Wednesday, 16 Sivan, visited the IEC substation on the Gaza border area that was hit by terrorist gunfire from Gaza.

Ron-Tal speaks about the damage and outage in power that resulted, explaining work is underway and all power should be restored in the coming days. The other videos show additional damage as well as technicians hard at work.

The strike to the substation left hundreds of thousands of Gazans in the dark. IEC technicians were responding as they have protective gear, but Energy Minister Dr. Yuval Steinitz gave the order to step down, to permit Gazans to remain in the dark until such time the rocket fire ceases, to permit them to understand the consequences of ongoing rocket fire.
