An Israeli citizen was seriously wounded on Wednesday after he was shot by an Arab just south of Chevron – in what appears to be non-terror related.
According to multiple reports, the man – who was attempting to sell his car – had entered the Arab village of Idna to negotiate with a potential buyer. For unknown reasons, an altercation with one of the residents erupted, and the man was shot in the stomach.
Haaretz reports that the victim got into his car and drove to the nearest IDF checkpoint where he reported that he had been hurt, while Ynet reports that MDA Medics received a report about a shooting attack. A military mobile medical unit, an MDA emergency vehicle and an ambulance were dispatched to the scene. The victim was then evacuated to a hospital by a military chopper.
The Jerusalem Post reports that the man had apparently been caught in the crossfire of a clash between two village clans.
The IDF stated that the man had broken the restricted area, and was there illegally.

If the “israeli citizen” is an Israeli Arab then oh well.
If he is Jewish then Refuah Shleimah but the guy is either brave or stupid and there’s a fine line there.
Isn’t it unfortunate enough that so many Arabs work in Jewish areas. When will our brethern learn not to go to them, legal or not? And all that to earn a bit more money? H’ Yerachem. May he have a refu’oh sheleimoh
I dont believe this one, that he was shot in a clash bt clans fighting. Baloney, death or injury by Arabs is terror. He should NOT have been there. REfuah Shelama
“appears to be non’teror related”
