Israel Police have arrested three caretakers in connection with the death of a toddler in a private Peach Tikvah daycare center. A MDA paramedic unit responded, and resuscitation was performed. The child was transported to Schneider Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Petach Tikvah police launched an investigation, unwilling to accept the claim it was a crib death. It was announced the investigation moved ahead and on Tuesday, 8 Sivan, three women working in the daycare center were taken into custody.

Two have since been released with restriction, house arrest for five days. The third woman was arraigned on Thursday, 10 Sivan, in the Petach Tikvah Magistrate Court at noon.
