A Jerusalem district police spokesman reports that a person disguised himself as a border policeman in the capital, was well outfitted. The notice went out as a warning for other police in the district.

This occurred on Wednesday, 2 Sivan and the spokesman calls all serving in the district and elsewhere to remain vigilant. The imposter was detected in Kikar Tzion in the downtown Jerusalem. He stopped and spoke with many of his police “colleagues” during a nine-hour period unit apprehended. A Yassam team stopping for a smoke began speaking with him and when they began asking where he served in the past, it became evident to them he was not a real policeman.

The suspect, 16, was in full uniform down to the smallest detail, including a Glock air pistol and a M4 air gun with laser site that appears to be a M16, 11 magazines filled with M-16 bullets (5.56mm bullets), a walkie talkie, gloves, knife, flashlight, utility belt, holster for pistol and more, as seen in accompanying video.
