Yachad party leader Eli Yishai this week visited northern areas, especially those councils in which the Yachad party hopes to be a player in municipal elections.

During his trip to the north, Yishai was in Tiveria, Afula, and Beit Shean, where he met with central players of his party on the local scene, as well as rabbonim from the various kehillos in those cities.

Yachad volunteers nationwide have been toiling during the last two months to establish a base ahead of elections, hoping to emerge successful in local elections.
