White House deputy press secretary Raj Shah addressed the deaths of more than 50 Palestinian protesters at the White House press briefing on Monday afternoon and blamed the terrorist group Hamas for their deaths – and said Israel has a right to defend itself.
“The responsibility for these tragic deaths rest squarely with Hamas,” Shah said, adding that “Hamas is intentionally and cynically provoking this response.”
He added: “As the Secretary of State [Mike Pompeo] said, Israel has the right to defend itself.”
Israel, for its part, has said the demonstrations are orchestrated by Hamas and has insisted its forces are acting “according to standard operating procedures.”
“There is no justification for the recklessness and cynicism Hamas has shown in urging people to engage in violence that exposes them to terrible risk. As the Secretary of State has said, Israel has a right to defend itself,” said a White House official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said in a statement.

If this escalates and Hamas persuades double the amount of people to ram the fence, the floodgates are open and rl we’ve got a serious problem. There is no shortage of wannabe shahids in Gaza, whats 55 out of millions of poor, disenfranchised and brainwashed Palestinians who feel like they are in a hopeless situation.
Finally a breath of fresh air
What a difference between Trump’s administration and of that mamzer Hussein Obama (yamach shmo).
This is such a breath of fresh air from the reaction of Mr. Obama’s administration which simply parroted the European response that Israel needs to stop persecuting defenseless Palestinians.
The Trump administration is finally publicizing an alternate perspective that does not make a moral equivalency between the Israeli’s right to defend themselves from unprovoked attacks and the Palestinians “privilege” to destroy human life in order to make political statement.
It will take a while but I think we will start hearing other nations starting to consider this alternate perspective as well.
its just amazing to imagine what kind of a statment we would have gotten on this just a year and a half ago
Shockingly, ABC, CBS and NBC portrayed the victims as “demonstrators”, omitting, or giving only slight mention of their violent acts and intentions. (I assume CNN did the same, but that would not be a shock.) They have crossed the line from bias to outright propaganda.
