The turbulent waters led to a call for Israel Police’s marine unit, to rescue three 16-year-old teens from the water off the Ashkelon Coast.

The three were in distress because of the high waves that hit the levee and after a prolonged period, police managed to bring them to safety under very turbulent conditions.

Police explained the complexity of the operation and the danger to the boys who were stuck, unable to return to shore. They explain everything possible was done to save lives and to bring them back safely.
