The ZAKA lost and found for children in Meron was quite busy as hundreds of thousands made their way to the tziyun of the Rashbi. As reported, ZAKA distributed tens of thousands of ID bracelets, given out in many talmidei Torah ahead of Lag B’Omer. One writes the name of the child’s father and phone number and if the child is lost, dad is called while the child remains in the ZAKA station.

In addition, the station serves as the hashovas aveida for Meron on Lag B’Omer. On the after of Lag B’Omer, ZAKA officials report they have dozens of pairs of tefillin, shtreimals, identity cards, bus smart cards, watches, bags and much more.
