Petrified Iranian Says He Fears An Israeli Attack Following PM Netanyahu’s Unveiling Of Iran’s Nuclear Program

After Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s dramatic speech exposing 100,000 Iranian documents proving that Iran had lied and violated the nuclear agreement signed with it, a resident of Tehran, the Iranian capital, told BeChadrei Chareidim (BC) about his fear of war.

YWN heard the recorded conversation with the Iranian resident, but they are not being published to protect his identity, as he fears for his life. This article contains the essence of the conversation as well as describing his fears.

“I am afraid that Netanyahu will bomb my house. I live in the place that Netanyahu spoke about,” he says in a conversation with the BC correspondent, Yanki Farber.

“The media here do not publish that Iranian soldiers and members of the Revolutionary Guards have been killed. All the sites have no mention, only on the social networks, we citizens know that Iranians were killed in Syria, Israel bombed Iranian missiles, the regime tries to hide the truth from us.”

Regarding the fear of war and the possibility that Israel might attack Iran, “We are waking up at night for fear that Israel will bomb us. We know that Israel does not harm civilians, but in war, innocent people always die. The regime here uses civilians as human shields,” he said. “They use civilians as human shields on military installations. People here are afraid. At least in the area where I live, the media will not say that people here are afraid. ”

During the conversation with P., he is watching Netanyahu’s speech and says, “I am in shock and I can’t believe it! Netanyahu is talking about the area where I live, he talks about military installations very close to my house, my family here is very scared. We will not sleep the next few nights, The place where Netanyahu speaks is called Shurabad, in southern Tehran, if Israel attacks here, we can be killed here.” He concludes and nervously hastens to end the conversation.

On Monday evening at 8:00PM, PM Netanyahu delivered an unprecedented speech and presentation that had previously been described as “dramatic,” and was aired on dozens of media outlets around the world. Mr. Netanyahu was clearly sending a message to the world, as he opted to speak to the nation in English, not Hebrew.

During the presentation, Netanyahu demonstrated through documents and graphs on a screen that “after the signing of the nuclear agreement in 2015. Iran stepped up its efforts to conceal its secret atomic portfolios, and in 2017 Iran transferred its nuclear weapons cases to a very secret site in Tehran. The area of Shurabad in southern Tehran, where they hid the atomic archives, few Iranians knew about the location, very few.” Netanyahu quickly added, “and a handful of Israelis!”

“From the outside it was an innocent-looking compound, looking like a shaky warehouse.” A few weeks ago, with a tremendous intelligence achievement, Israel obtained half a ton of the material found in those safes, and here is what we found – 55,000 pages and 55,000 more contained on 183 CDs.”

“All you’re going to see is an exact transcript of the original Iranian material. You might want to know where the source is? I can say that he is now in a very safe place. Here are what these files include – damning documents, incriminating graphs, incriminating presentations, incriminating programs, incriminating images, incriminating videos and more,” Netanyahu said in a 20-minute speech.

“Netanyahu proved to the world who Iran really is, I am convinced, the US gave Iran a billion dollars, and what we received in return, nothing is zero, and we gave them a billion and a half in cash, is unacceptable, this is a terrible agreement to the United States, a bad agreement, and I do not accept it.”

As has always been the case, Iranian officials responded by calling the Israeli report lies and fabrications, preferring to ignore the essence of what was revealed to the world.

In the meantime, PM Netanyahu spoke Monday with Russian President Vladimir Putin about the disclosure of the secret documents of Iran’s nuclear weapons program. They also discussed the situation in Syria and agreed to meet as soon as possible. According to the report on Channel 10, Putin told Netanyahu that “the nuclear agreement with Iran is of paramount importance to international stability and must be preserved.”

European Union Foreign Minister Federica Mogherini responded to Netanyahu’s speech by saying: “I did not see in Netanyahu’s arguments something that violated the nuclear agreement … If the parties relied on each other, there was no need for an agreement.”

In contrast, Germany announced that it would review details of the information presented by PM Netanyahu vis-à-vis Tehran’s nuclear ambitions.

  1. Bibi’s speech wasn’t necessarily about the contents of the documents but the documents themselves. The fact that Israel could get ahold of one of Iran’s closest guarded secrets and then boast to the world about it should give a thought to other world leaders about Israel’s intelligence capabilities.

  2. This doesn’t smell good to me,
If the official networks don’t report anything how did he get this information? Via Social media? I always thought it was banned in Iran
, so I’m having second thoughts with this article

Moderators Note: This interview 100% took place, and social media is not all banned. Just last night YWN published an article about Iran wanting Telegram banned. As of this minute, it still woks, as do many many other texting apps that are encrypted.

  3. Every Iranian that supports the terror supporting regime should spend every minute of every day living in fear. That is the terror they inflict on so many parts of the world. Let them be on the receiving end of it.

  4. What about the average civilian who doesn’t support them and just wants to live? Some might even welcome an Israeli attack in order to topple over the dictatorship.

  5. litvishechossid:

I feel bad for them. The average civilian is not innocent. I could believe that there are a minority of innocents there. But they support their government. I am not about to sit back and pity them. The focus is elsewhere. History shows that these concerns about innocent civilians are taken seriously by Israel, never by any of the Arab?Muslim countries. And if these folks are happy about Iran getting bombed, that’s an unexpected gift.

  6. Thanks YWN for the clarification,
I didn’t think YOUR report was wrong, I thought this man was having a good laugh,
Thanks again & keep up the good work

  7. It’s kind of hard to pity these people. After all, they put this evil extremist regime into power. You reap what you sow.
