On Sunday evening, the IDF neutralized three terrorists in two separate incidents during a short interval. Security forces shot and killed two terrorists attempting to infiltrate the border fence after having thrown improvised explosive devices at the security forces. A third terrorist was apprehended and brought into custody.

An IDF spokesperson said that the two terrorists who were shot were identified as tampering with the security fence and attempting to enter Israel. An IDF force fired in their general direction. One terrorist was killed at the scene, while the second was apprehended. He is being interrogated by security forces.

Last month, the IDF captured three terrorists who were armed with hand-grenades and knives when they were attempting to cross over into Israel near the Kibbutz of Nir Yitzchak. That incident ended without injuries to either side.
