IDF personnel in the 98th Division were erroneously called to report for duty immediately on Thursday morning, Independence Day. The emergency mobilization message went to hundreds of reserve commanders, according to which the recipient is to report immediately to the unit’s emergency warehouses with military equipment and protective kits.

The possibility that the error occurred as a result of the security tensions in the region in addition to tests of the automated recruitment system are being examined.
