Sikrikim in Beit Shemesh set piles of Yated Neeman newspapers ablaze on Ben Ish Chai Street near the new commercial center, referring to it as the “abhorrent newspaper”.
They are opposed to Yated Neeman, which represents Gedolei Torah in Bnei Brak, and their hashkafa instructing talmidei yeshivos to report to IDF draft centers for their first call-up, filling out personal information and declaring themselves full-time students of Torah.
This act permits them to enjoy their status as lomdei Torah and receive state aid, as opposed to talmidim aligned with the Peleg Yerushalmi branch, which instructs talmidim not to report to induction centers ever.
This hashkafa is in line with the instructions of HaGaon HaRav Shmuel Auerbach ZT”L. The Peleg-affiliated newspaper is HaPeleg.

seems like Beit Shemesh is becoming the haven for the kooks and nuts from Meah Shariim who believe that the more extreme you are, the more religious you are.
Yet they are too stupid to realize that religion is getting close to HKB”H and not making oneself the center of the world with foolish acts that turn off people….
The end of galus is upon us. Then when the Geula arrives the Infinite Light of God will be revealed and evil will be destroyed.
But right before that time will be a period of great darkness and confusion, so do not be surprised at what you see and hear, just make sure that you and all you can influence connect to God and shine, and the right way is when your shine increases light and joy, and this is only through kindness.
Hi, One correction…
The name of the Peleg-affiliated newspaper is “HaPeles.” Its editor is a former editor of the Yated, who was fired Yated’s management.
Anger Management & Conflict Resolution are important skills either learned at home or school.
Unfortunately we are always aghast at those that have never been educated or exposed to respect, compromise or team cooperation. We daven for change!!
Who bought and paid for the papers that were burnt?
Who instructed the Sikrikim to burn the papers?
Do they regard the Gedolei Torah of Bnei Brak as Gedolei Torah?
