Police on Monday, 1 Iyar, were summoned to the Bayit Vegan neighborhood, a call for a child locked in a vehicle. The child was crying upon their arrival, and they wasted no time, acting within seconds to break the window and get her out. The child was checked and Baruch Hashem, it was determined she was in good health. MDA treated one of the policemen, who sustained a light hand injury.

Police also tracked down the father of the child, who rushed to the scene. The dad was questioned by police. The police report does not state how long the child was in the car before being extricated.
