Their request to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to permit them to visit Har Habayis together with members of bereaved families on Sunday, 30 Nissan was rejected. They wished to accompany the group in a showing of solidarity with the families.
Not left with options, MKs Yehuda Glick and Shuli Muallem accompanied the bereaved family members to the entrance of Har Habayis nonetheless. They addressed the group, which continued onto the holy site without them.
The families, who lost some of their loved ones, decided it was appropriate to visit Har Habayis ahead of Memorial Day, with the latter observed this week, on Wednesday.
