Winter has returned to Eretz Yisrael, albeit briefly. The rains began in Jerusalem on Tuesday morning 25 Nissan, becoming heavy at times, even thundershowers accompanied by strong winds. Temperatures are lower than seasonal, with forecasters expecting the precipitation to taper off later in the day and a warmer day on Wednesday.
Rain is quite uncommon following Pesach, especially thundershowers, and it is written in seforim that rainfall between Pesach and Atzeres is a segulah. The sefer Nofet Tzofim (נופת צופים) written by HaRav HaGaon Pinchas of Koritz ZT”L writes
We are instructed to walk out in the rain, let the rain fall on our heads and to tilt one’s head back especially to permit the rainfall to enter one’s mouth from the right.
This segulah is hinted to in Gemara Shabbos 147.

If R Pinchas Koritzer says it, I’ll do it. Hopefully tomorrow.
