Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman announced on Sunday, 16 Nissan, that Israel will not return the bodies of Gazans killed during violent clashes with soldiers along the Gaza border on erev Shabbos, 14 Nissan. Lieberman explained that until such time Hamas released the bodies of Lt. Hadar Goldin and Sgt. Oren Shaul, the bodies of the Gazans will be held by Israel.
Speaking to Channel 20 News, the senior minister explained how Hamas has money for everything other than helping improve the quality of life for Gazans, now spending “$15 million for a weekend terror parade”.
According to Israeli reports, of the 18 persons killed in the border clashes, 10 were affiliated with Hamas. Lieberman rejected called for a probe into the deaths and injuries, calling such demands “Hypocritical”. He had harsh words for the newly-elected head of the extremist left-wing Meretz party, MK Tamar Zandberg, who is among the audible voices demanding an independent probe into the deaths.
Hamas snatched the bodies of Goldin and Shaul during Operation Protective Edge, the IDF counter-terrorism incursion into Gaza in the summer of 2014. Hamas to date has refused to release the bodies for kvura in Israel.

Please, someone, explain this to me..i just don’t get it.. everyone knows that every time Israel refuses to return the bodies of dead terrorists, it’s just a matter of time before they do.. so whats the point of playing games? Doesn’t this just make Israel seem weak, that they can’t abide by their word
