For Gazans entered southern Israel in the area of Kibbutz Kissufim and then attempted to damage/destroy construction equipment used by authorities in the ongoing war against Hamas terrorist tunnels, to build the underground barriers that block the tunnels.

They were detected, and succeeded in fleeing back towards Gaza.

There were no reports of injuries.

Officials in Israel report damage to the equipment was light.
