A woman in her 60’s fell off of her countertop on Wednesday evening and moderately injured herself when she hit ground below. The woman had climbed onto the countertop to clean for Pesach.
United Hatzalah emergency medical service volunteers were dispatched to the scene and provided first aid treatment for the woman following which, she was transported to Tel Hashomer Hospital in moderate condition.
Yonatan Rosen, a United Hatzalah volunteer EMT who was one of the first responders at the scene said: “When I arrived at the scene, together with other volunteers from United Hatzalah who live in close proximity to where the incident occurred, family members of the patient told us that the woman fell after she had climbed onto the countertop to clean for Pesach. She had wanted to clean the upper kitchen cabinets for Pesach according to them. We provided first aid treatment to the injuries that the woman was suffering in her limbs and upper body.”
